I killed dominos with a drill.

So as you may have read earlier I am building a lamp made of dominos. I started on my project and have found out just how terrified of power tools I am... I'm scared to even use a hammer... I got my dominos and my teacher gave me a very brief over view of how to use the drill, which is this HUGE thing I might add, and I tried to do it myself. Of course my teacher made it look soooo easy. Well once the drill got through the other side it would yank the domino out of my hand and start spinning uncontrollably! So my teacher got me this clamp thing so I would stop being scared of drilling through my hand, and so that I would have something more sturdy to hold the dominos down with.

So here is a pile of drilled out dominos! Once I got the hang of the drill [and wasn't too terrified anymore] things went a lot more smooth.

Here is another look through the holes of the domino. I must say I feel somewhat accomplished for being able to do this fairly well :].

There was the occasional accident though... The corners would chip off if I didn't go slow enough. Only a few dominos were sacrificed for the good of the colony... Ha ha.
So my lamp is slowly coming along. I'm thinking I might build two. I'll post more pics once progress is made!
