2011

So as you may (or may not) have known, I used to attend Snow College. This year I am going to Salt Lake Community College. I am living at home which helps make things significantly cheaper, and I get to work more than I did at Snow. Unfortunately I am not currently enrolled in any art classes this semester. I'm hoping to take a guitar class in the spring though.

I got my license (finally) over the summer. As well as my very own car. It is an '83 Jeep. It's pretty old, but it is a BEAST. Army green, orange shag rug interior, rust everywhere. Real beauty. My dad and I named it the "Warthog" after the vehicles in Halo. Although if you asked my boyfriend it's name is "The Sarge". Which brings us to our next topic...

I am now dating this amazing guy, Tyrone.

I have to keep stealing his facebook photos because we haven't taken any pictures together yet. That is on the "to do" list ha ha, take silly pictures with Tyrone :) We started dating this summer, and I couldn't be happier. I'm such a lucky girl! We met while I was going to Snow. Actually we met the very first weekend I was living there, but we didn't become good friends until my last semester there. Then we started to hang out before it was time for me to move back home.

Tyrone and I both really liked each other, and one night I finally worked up the courage to tell him I honestly think we'd be great together. We started dating the next day :) after he came to visit me, we hung out all day and had tons of fun. Then that night we were at the dinner table with my mom and he asks to talk to her and my dad. He talked with her first and asked permission to date me! It was so incredibly sweet. Then Tyrone asked my dad and well obviously they said yes ha ha.

It was the perfect way to end my summer vacation. We are both incredibly happy. And I cannot wait to see him again (he is currently in Cali. for a conference)!

That is pretty much the basic  update of what has been going on in my life. All is going very well :)
